ABOUT

Disco Beetle is a shop by Jackie Collins, a queer and chronically ill animator, storyboard artist, and illustrator from NY.Jackie has been in the animation industry for nearly a decade, and has always carried into their work, a love for nature, plants, animals, and critters alike. Over the summer of 2025, they decided to indulge in creating more work for themself, exploring a range of practices in both illustration and craft that allowed them to tie in their love for nature illustration, and created this shop as a means to share their work with others.The name Disco Beetle comes from the fun and joyful energy Jackie strives to manifest in their work, and also their favorite type of insect!
